I haven’t blogged as much as I want too. I’ve been stressing just like everyone else during these times.
So we are going to be moving by the end of the month. I can no longer afford our apartment. We also received a notice on our door. I’m just lucky we are able to go move in with my Mom.
How did I get here? Working and trying to survive 🤣 it’s nuts. I have a nice job inspecting bridges but it doesn’t keep up with the cost of living anymore. So since I can’t afford to live in Florida anymore. We’ve decided that moving in with my Mom is our best current move.
Idk how much longer wages can stay the way they are. I feel like more and more people our in the current situation we are in right now or homeless. We need change and we needed it yesterday.
I’m still trying to process all of this and it does suck to quit a job that I’ve been at for almost 8 years. But I have to what is best for our family and if we try to keep staying here in Florida I feel we might end up homeless. I mean I know our family wouldn’t allow that but the thought of us being homeless with our kids, nope.
So the move to Kentucky is our best move for right now. I can save up money there and work on some side hustles I’ve been wanting to explore. Who knows maybe this is a blessing we don’t know about .
Once we arrive I will start blogging more and try and explore more of Kentucky while we live there. We are going to be moving back to the West Coast as soon as we save enough in Kentucky.
